Sadly, the geek squad trusted the level that is attached to the Siig wall mount instead of using their own level. My tv was off by 1/4 of an inch which was noticeable but I didn't catch until the next day in the daylight. Then Best Buy wanted to charge me $100 to come back and correct their mistake. The mount is very sturdy and I like it a lot since it is an articulating mount. I would recommend it but just make sure you check a second level!

(More customer reviews)I just put up this unit and installation was easy (came with instructions unlike other poster's experience). The unit is well made, strong, and has ample room for running cables through the center channel and access holes. The only drawback is the depth of the shelves are somewhat short for components that are deep and/or require additional depth due to larger cable plugs (like HDMI cables).
I plan to make some wooden covers (to sit on top of the glass shelves) to provide the extra depth I need.
I would recommend that you simply measure the depth of your components first, including the length of your longest cable plug to ensure this unit will work for you. Otherwise, you will have the front feet of your audio/video components dangling off the front edge of the shelves.

The AS3B is a tri-shelf cable management system. It can be used with or without a Plasma/LCD mount. This unit is designed to fit under your display and provide an on wall solution for other components such as cable boxes, DVD players, game consoles, and stereo components. There are three 2.25-Inch holes on the aluminum plate that allow you to cleanly run your cables up to your TV or down to another component, as well as out the bottom to an outlet. In most cases the wall stud is placed to the right or to the left of the display, which is not where most people prefer to have their shelves mounted. (More customer reviews)I bought this unit after seeing the reviews of the OmniMount which looked very similar. Below are the steps I took to get a huge bundle of wires cleanly running through the cable channel (will post pics shortly):
1. Place the device on the glass and run the cables through the routing hole.
2. Align the device where it will sit.
3. Mark the cables running through the hole with a line across all of them to mark where they'll be tied together.
4. Remove device, repeat 2,3 for other devices on other platforms.
5. Route all of the cables as previously marked, zip-tie'ing them togther as they work up (or down) the back of the cable channel.
I have the following sitting on the platforms:
1. Mac Mini
2. Panasonic Blu-Ray player
3. HD Tivo
The Tivo is the only device which extends past the glass, however all feet remain on the surface.
Highly recommend this mount - I have 13 various cables going through the channel (coax, power, ethernet, optical audio, dvi), with a little bit more room left.

(More customer reviews)For some time now we've tooled around with the idea of permanently mounting our 46" Sony. One of the biggest roadblocks in our way was the not so wall friendly, overpriced mounting kits. With the on time arrival of Telehook's VESA Wire Mount, that's not a big problem for us anymore.
After inventorying all the included hardware, I broke out the tv manual to ensure that this was a go. Good thing I did. As a back up plan we were going to mount the 48" LG in the family room instead of the Sony. The VESA cannot be configured to our older set. We opted with our original plan. Its also a good idea to know the weight of your television. This system can hold up to 110 pounds.
Knowing the size of the required bolts for the tv is paramount. This kit comes with 8mm x 200mm bolts only. Luckily we were okay in that department. The only tools that we needed were a drill, drill bits, level, and a screwdriver. The mounting process was relatively pain free. If one has ever hung paintings or photographs around the house then this installation should be old hand.
With the right tools installing the wall support anchors is easy. Affixing the television's wire mounting hardware is just as simple. Its a good idea to double check and ensure that the hanging wire is taunt. Just remember, that this particular product mounts the television flat against the wall. There is no way to angle the tv once its installed.
Something that we were concerned about was the cable access point. Thankfully its not a problem with this style of mounting. As far as the dangling cables go, we found a nice panel that reduces the visual clutter. Made by the same company, it hides up to 10 cables. Its called a Cable Manager and is totally compatible with this system.
It goes without saying that the overall quality of the VESA wall mount is top notch all the way. Whether its brick, wood or drywall, it covers the bases. This unit is also backed by the manufacturer's five year warranty against defects. Overall, we're very happy with this product.

The piece that attaches to the studs in the wall is level and in very sturdy but the extending arm is slowly leaning down and it's an LED tv...not heavy. Peerless Universal Articulating Wall Arm for 37-Inch - 71-Inch Flat Panel Screens (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)This wall mount is a beast. It's cast aluminum and steel construction and it is definitely heavy duty. It accommodated a 75 pound LCD TV with ease. It does require some skill to install, especially if your wall framing isn't specifically set up for this mount. The cast aluminum mounting holes on the arms are 16" on center and have a sliding feature that allows you to slide the TV left or right a total of about 12". You might squeak out another few inches if you move the mounting plate on the back of the TV left or right, but plan on having the mount close to the center of your mounting point. My framing was set up so that I wound up milling some 1" ash lumber about 4" wide and using that to catch three studs. I could then attach this mount to the ash on the wall to put the TV dead center on the wall.
The actual mount is two pieces. The articulating arm mounts on the wall and the plate that goes on the back of your TV. It has a clever two bolt drop in system that allows you mount the wall arm and then slide the TV and TV mount onto the wall arm. There are 4 total bolts that hold the TV bracket to the wall mount. The wall mount uses 5/16 x 3 1/2" lags for wood studs. I can't comment on brick or steel framed walls - I had wood studs with drywall. One thing I did not like was that none of the included hardware for the TV mounting plate really had the proper washers for the TV bracket, they were simply too small. I bought some proper sized metric hex bolts and washers to mount the TV plate to the back of my TV.
The instructions could be better written and some of the bolts described in the directions don't match what is on the wall mount. Individual mounting variations aside, this mount easily adjusts in multiple directions and is extremely well built. I would recommend this mount as long as you have some carpentry skill and someone to help out. It's not a one person job because the mount itself is pretty heavy - 60+ pounds. As long as you have requisite installation skills, I would readily endorse the quality and construction of this wall mount.

I was looking for a very slim mount with no tilting. This on was the choice. It could be slimmer, but for the money, its what I expected. This thing if VERY strong. 4 lag screws are provided and mounting into the studs, I think I could have hung off the mount and I'm 225lbs. Installation is very easy. Just find the studs and level the wall plate and the hard part is over. There are little yellow clips that keep the TV from pulling off the wall. They look small and cheap. But when I tried to take the TV off to hide the wires, I couldn't get the dang thing off!!! Those clips will hold it for sure.
Be warned. With this mount, you may not have room for your cables. I had planned for this and mounted a wall box right behind the HDMI inputs to make it work. For me, the shallower the mount, the better.

I bought this to hang my Toshiba 52" above the fire place.
The instructions are easy to follow and any and all hardware come with the mount.
My only complaint is the mounting bracket, It could be wider.
The stud's in the wall are wider than 18" (non load bearing wall)
If it came with some sort of "extender" bracket then this unit would be absolutly PERFECT!.
I ended up cutting the sheetrock and added more 2x4 in the wall and put the sheet rock back.(wasn't too bad)
Once it was mounted, I extended the arm and put my weight on it (210lbs) this thing did not budge!
Very sturdy unit, it suprised the heck out of me.
I will buy another one without hesitation as soon as I get another flat TV for my bedroom.

(More customer reviews)I looked around quite a bit for a mount that I wanted. I wanted tilt and I wanted the articulating arms. Since I have a 400 x 200 VESA TV my options were limited. I decided on this one because it had prime shipping and some decent reviews. I should have read the reviews more carefully. (Pros and Cons at the end)
I'm a guy, so when I open up a project I want to figure it out and complete it on my own, then read the instructions. But this time I decided to give the instructions a try first. As another reviewer pointed out, THE INSTRUCTIONS HAVE NO WORDS ON THEM. Step 1 has 3 options you should use depending on your TV's VESA setup. I picked mine and installed it as pictured. It was frustrating that I couldn't tell where the top of the TV is on the diagram though. I found out I had set it up upside down so I had to take it off and put it back on. A simple word like TOP or BOTTOM would have been useful in this diagram. (For those of you who get it, the yellow clips go towards the bottom.)
So I got it all attached to my TV and they tell me to bust out a leveler and make sure the bracket your screw into the wall is straight. I proceed to do that and I'm pretty close to dead center and drive those long screws in. Then I put up the articulating arms which were a simple installation. All that's left is to attach the TV to the mount. I step back knowing I did everything right according to the instructions, feeling good to knock out a project (30 minute installation), and I realize my TV is not straight. But I did everything right, what is going on? So I adjust the tilt screws (to tilt it you must use a 10mm socket or wrench to loosen it, tilt it, then tighten it into position) thinking it might have been something I did wrong. Then I realize there is some play in the bracket. At least a few degrees (in the 85-88 degree vs. the 90 they claim). The fixing project may wait for another weekend, I may add some cushion underneath the area with play (the top of the bracket attached to the TV), or I may just take it apart and set it straight. If they had some words in the instructions both of the pains I experienced would have been avoided.

Tilting difficulty (use some type of ratcheting screw instead of the nuts/screws).
The play room which set it off center.
Overall it's a good and sturdy product. -1 star for the lack of clear instructions, and -1 star for the play room and the tilting. I'd still recommend and purchase this product but keep in mind what other reviewers and I have said. To the manufacturer if you fix these things you'll have a 5 star product.
