(More customer reviews)I have a small center channel on the top shelf, dvd/cable box on the middle, and my stereo receiver on the bottom. The shelves sag when fully tightened down. Today, after having the shelving for 3 weeks, the bottom shelf mounting arm broke. Luckily I was able to catch my reciever before it fell on the ground. I ended up hurting myself in the process. Installation instructions were not very good, and one of the allen head bolts wasn't even drilled, so I had to find a replacement on my own. Shelving is also not very large, and my components barely fit on them. The cable management on the back is maybe 1/2" diameter, and I could barely fit 3 cords in it before it was full and then the slide in cover wouldn't go on. I can't afford another one unfortunately, so Im stuck with this. I just had to contact AVF to send me another mounting arm, hopefully they will do so with no issues as they have a lifetime warranty.

Flat-panel Accessory Shelf Review

(More customer reviews)There are only two flaws with this product one is the single screw that holds the solid steel shelf top to the frame. Second the manufacturer should include the optional strap instead I have had to order it from a non-Amazon online merchant. Otherwise I do highly recommend this for any wall mounted flat screen tv. In my case I used it for my Grandmother's Philco DTV converter box connected to her analog LCD tv. The reception is clear and perfect.

Cheetah Mounts AS3S 3 Shelf Wall Mount Bracket for LCD, LED and Plasma TV with Cable Management System Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this unit after seeing the reviews of the OmniMount which looked very similar. Below are the steps I took to get a huge bundle of wires cleanly running through the cable channel (will post pics shortly):
1. Place the device on the glass and run the cables through the routing hole.
2. Align the device where it will sit.
3. Mark the cables running through the hole with a line across all of them to mark where they'll be tied together.
4. Remove device, repeat 2,3 for other devices on other platforms.
5. Route all of the cables as previously marked, zip-tie'ing them togther as they work up (or down) the back of the cable channel.
I have the following sitting on the platforms:
1. Mac Mini
2. Panasonic Blu-Ray player
3. HD Tivo
The Tivo is the only device which extends past the glass, however all feet remain on the surface.
Highly recommend this mount - I have 13 various cables going through the channel (coax, power, ethernet, optical audio, dvi), with a little bit more room left.

The AS3S is a tri-shelf cable management system. It can be used with or without a Plasma/LCD mount. This unit is designed to fit under your display and provide an on wall solution for other components such as cable boxes, DVD players, game consoles, and stereo components. There are three 2.25-Inch holes on the aluminum plate that allow you to cleanly run your cables up to your TV or down to another component, as well as out the bottom to an outlet. After reviewing our competition we realized that most shelving units need to be mounted directly into a wall stud. In most cases the wall stud is placed to the right or to the left of the display, which is not where most people prefer to have their shelves mounted. This is still the most secure option however, after significant research we've found that using the correct toggle bolts can allow you to mount your shelving unit wherever you see fit. With the combination of four of these toggle bolts the shelving unit is able to hold well over 70LBS safely. Each individual toggle bolt provides 75LBS of support. Please note that a good toggle bolt is still only as good as the quality of the drywall it is mounted into. If you have water damage or .25-Inch drywall please add a support for your shelving unit.

(More customer reviews)The shelf is sturdy and works just as expected. But without having a glass on top, it is difficult to get certain items to fit. Ex. I tried to set my Directv receiver on it (non DVR). It is too small and wont fit well. Then I put my old DVD player on it and the legs on the buttom of the DVD player interfer with the legs of the shelf. I can push it back, but it doesn't sit even. My new DVD player which is compact and small doesn't really fit either and just doesn't look right. Perfect for LARGE AV components.
The shelf would work well for LARGE items, but for compact items it isn't centered, or is just plain hard to fit.
No exactly what you plan to put on it.
But it was easy to install and it is very sturdy. Can easily hold heavy or stacking items.
It would be perfect if:
1. It had a glass/ plastic shelf to set on the mount.
2. It didn't stick out as much.

(More customer reviews)This was delivered in one day. Good Condition. Picture instructions easy to follow.
Wasn't a wood stud where it needed to be installed. I tried using supplied drywall anchors and screws. The plastic anchors messed up using an electric drill and screws were to large.
I had the common problem of creating a rounded out hole to big for the anchors.(stuff happens!) So,I checked my surplus hardware stash and found two metal drywall anchors with the spring loaded wing-nuts that lockup against the inside of the drywall. These are the best for any weight bearing install.
I didn't rate the shelf system 5 stars because of the supplied anchors & screws.
The shelf system was great and goodlooking. A very sturdy shelf holds the cable box and above on the next shelf is my blu-ray player. Adjusting the shelves was easy. I really liked being able to arrange all cables neatly through cableways on each side of the base and behind the shelf holders. This made a nice clean setup. Very pleased with the final results.
I experienced no instability in any of the shelves as I read in some review. This my be because of the use of the supplied anchoring hardware. Before install, go to the hardware store and get better hardware for the drywall. In my opinion, the metal wing-nut toggle bolt type are the best for load bearing shelving.

(More customer reviews)I was initially excited about this product. It seemed to be the best 3 shelf wall mount system; it's not. Though I've not found an alternative yet, I'm looking. The reason behind my disappointment is that the shelves are unrealistically shallow. One needs to consider that the depth of each shelf is shortened when one considered the cables that have to come out of the back of the receiver. For example, an HDMI cable is a high end thick cableand it needs about 1.5" of rear room to be plugged in and bent down or toward it's souce. If you use good speaker cables like Monster, the same holds true, so one looses shelf depth because the distance that the cables use coming out of the back of a receiver wasn't properly accounted for. Perhaps for a home theater in a box it would work fine, but for anyone who has a regular receiver, forget it! Even my DVD player barely fit on it! With home theaters evolving quickly, the consumer needs a true multi shelf wall mount system that accomodates a regular receiver, DVD player & cable/SAT box, as well as a center channel shelf. Well, that and a couple of bucks will get you on the New York subway...

(More customer reviews)After searching and reading reviews, we decided to purchase the Omni-Mount TRIA Silver with clear glass shelves. We needed shelving to go under our wall-mounted flat-screen TV. These shelves, which are designed for lightweight components, work well for this purpose. As other reviewers noted, they will NOT work for small TVs or anything too heavy.
The product arrived in a nicely engineered, well-packed box. We weren't impressed with the instructions - each page is multi-lingual and the pictures are small with poor resolution. That being said, the product itself installed quite a bit easier than we expected and looks really nice.
We found the shelf depth adequately deep for stereo components, DVRs or DVD players. The cord management system was pretty straightforward, and we particularly like that the covers are paintable. We painted the cord covers and the cords coming out of the bottom and going into the outlet. The end result is a very clean, minimalist look for TV or stereo components.
