Called customer support, and had them shipped out without issue or charges. Since they could be inserted after assembly, I was able to get the stand setup and functional while they were being sent from Canada. Works well with a 42" TV.

Prepac Cps-6000 60" Plasma Tv Console With Media Storage - Cherry Review

(More customer reviews)We got the product in black. It looks good, and has lots of storage. The top is a nice size for our 40" LCD TV and two black speakers. We chose not to use the legs, and think the unit looks fine just sitting on the carpet.
I am not at all handy, but assembly was straightforward. All parts and hardware matched up very well. It took me three or four hours to assemble, and I was able to do it alone. I would give the product 5 stars except for the following:
1. Prepac shorted me one small part, which was annoying. They sent it via UPS, which took about a week. Fortunately, I was able to add the part after final assembly.
2. The instructions were OK. but were a bit brief and general for someone inept (like me) who is used to seeing more detail, with cabinet parts labeled A, B, C, ... etc.
3. I found the magnetic catches to be somewhat weak for fully-loaded doors, and replaced them with a pair of catches with heavy-duty magnets.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a stunning piece of fine furniture, you should pay more and look elsewhere. If you want an inexpensive, decent-looking, functional stand for your LCD or plasma TV, I would recommend the Prepac PS-6000.

Assembly was fairly straightforward, although the directions could always be improved. The only consideration is that the package that arrived weighs A LOT. If you need to carry this thing upstairs make sure to have assistance.

I was looking for a very slim mount with no tilting. This on was the choice. It could be slimmer, but for the money, its what I expected. This thing if VERY strong. 4 lag screws are provided and mounting into the studs, I think I could have hung off the mount and I'm 225lbs. Installation is very easy. Just find the studs and level the wall plate and the hard part is over. There are little yellow clips that keep the TV from pulling off the wall. They look small and cheap. But when I tried to take the TV off to hide the wires, I couldn't get the dang thing off!!! Those clips will hold it for sure.
Be warned. With this mount, you may not have room for your cables. I had planned for this and mounted a wall box right behind the HDMI inputs to make it work. For me, the shallower the mount, the better.

(More customer reviews)First, let me say that this wall mount is exactly the type of mount I like to use. It is very easy to install and keeps the TV close to the wall.
Personally, I don't like gadgety wall mounts that pull in and out or angle the TV different ways since they are harder to mount so they look level. Those more complicated mounts also don't keep the TV as flush with the wall as simpler mounts like this one. I know that some people really have a need for the more complicated mounts; but I don't think most home users do.
Anyway, the method used by this mount to keep the TV level works great; but, I found that it introduces a new problem, which is why I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5. The problem is this mount makes it much easier to level the TV at the expense of making it harder to center from left to right.
I guess it just depends on your personallity for which type of mount you would prefer. If you are the type of person that will spend an extra 20 minutes making sure the mount itself is perfectly level, then you probably don't need this anyway - and a traditional mount will give you the added benefit of allowing the TV to slide left and right a bit to keep it perfectly centered. If you aren't great at leveling things on the wall or prefer to just do some minimal measuring before throwing the mount up, then this mount was made for you!

(More customer reviews)After spending hours looking at options for a TV stand or wall mount, I came to the decision to get a TV stand with a mount built in (because I live in an apartment). This is without a doubt the best choice in this category. It took me no more than 2 hours from the time I opened it until it was put together. The directions are pretty straightforward, even though I messed up a couple of times and had to backtrack. You can probably reduce the time it takes to build this by 50% if you have another person helping. Also, I HIGHLY recommend the 60" version over the 42" one. It is definitely worth the extra money. My 50" flat screen goes perfect with this stand.
Here are the pros:
- The parts were very well packed
- Looks sturdy, quality material. This should last me my entire lifetime...
- Simple, easy to follow directions. Everything is labeled.
- A plethora of screws/bolts for TV mounting options (your TV is almost sure to have the correct mounting screws included)
- The mount is the best mount I've ever used. The mount is made to be very easily adjustable. It tilts vertically, as well as horizontally. It will not, however, slide side-to-side (horizontally) or up and down (vertically), but the tilting options are more than enough.
- BEAUTIFUL STAND
- Plenty of space
Cons
- I've noticed dust collecting on the glass after a few days. I have a micro fiber cloth nearby now, and I'll probably have to make it a task to wipe it down real quick once a week. Not really much of a con though.
- It may take a little trial and error to get your TV on the stand at the desired height. You can eliminate the trial and error by doing some simple measuring/guesstimation though.
- Fingerprints might be a problem for people with kids.
- Might need extra washers. They gave me the exact number of washers that I needed, and I almost lost one when I dropped it.
Other things
Make sure you have plenty of space to put it together, and set aside a couple of hours to put it together. I have the TV the highest it will go (without allowing the mount to be visible) and there is about 7-8 inches from the top layer of glass to the bottom of my TV. This allows space for a quality center channel speaker to be placed directly under the TV. Lastly, if you're looking for a home theater system to go with this stand check out EMP Tek. Their Impression series speakers (in red burl color) match this stand perfectly; They will blow any mainstream brand speakers out of the water, too.
I can't really say enough about this stand. I have gotten comments on it from every last person that's seen it. I'm very happy with my purchase.
