Best for a flat panel 50 inches or larger, with a 50 inch Plasma there's quite a bit of room between the bottom of the panel and the glass shelve.

(More customer reviews)This thing really works very well. Ordering was as easy as ever with Amazon and delivery was prompt. Only one minor complaint: the assembly instructions were entirely graphic. I would have preferred an explanatory text regarding the flexibility of the configurations. It would have helped me get started in the right direction and it would have saved time. Also, one bolt was poorly threaded, but there is enough hardware in the package to easily overcome such minor issues. I would recommend it to anyone with at least moderate assembly skills.

I bought this to hang my Toshiba 52" above the fire place.
The instructions are easy to follow and any and all hardware come with the mount.
My only complaint is the mounting bracket, It could be wider.
The stud's in the wall are wider than 18" (non load bearing wall)
If it came with some sort of "extender" bracket then this unit would be absolutly PERFECT!.
I ended up cutting the sheetrock and added more 2x4 in the wall and put the sheet rock back.(wasn't too bad)
Once it was mounted, I extended the arm and put my weight on it (210lbs) this thing did not budge!
Very sturdy unit, it suprised the heck out of me.
I will buy another one without hesitation as soon as I get another flat TV for my bedroom.

This is a solid mount, the wall plate is 19.25" wide, allowing it to be mounted into two standard studs 16" apart. This provides a stable two stud installation for displays in the 23-55" size range. This mount will fit hole patterns up to 26.5" wide and 17.25" tall including all VESA standard hole patterns up to 400X600mm. It is made from 2mm steel and can handle displays weighing up to 155lbs. The profile is only 4.75" in the flat position yet offers up to 10 degrees of tilt. This mount is currently only available in black. Installation instructions and all mounting hardware are included.  We do offer some larger mounts that fill fit TV's that have a hole larger pattern.
