(More customer reviews)I am just delighted with my recent purchase of the 14' 1000XT Sunsetter Awning. It is a little more difficult to open and close than what they depict, but still manageable even tho it is quite heavy to lift and extend the arms. Also I recommend that you pay aprx 300 dollars to have it installed, it is not easy to erect, many parts, very heavy, and takes 2 or three individuals to handle it. To me, I feel this was a great investment and the family really enjoys it and I do highly recommend it to others. The quality of the unit is great.

Note that some reviews say these sails come with hardware. We did not receive any hardware and the ropes provided were very small. But that did not detract at all from the quality of the material or the effectiveness of the sails themselves. These are a great deal!

Redi Shade 3102519 White Fabric Window Shade, 48-by-72-Inch Review

(More customer reviews)These shades are an excellent value to get window coverings on your home at an affordable price. The fabric ones in particular have a very nice look (compared the the paper or light blocking ones) and go up super easy. All you do is cut the width to size if needed. If you have a paper cutter that works best for a clean cut, otherwise a box cutter will do in a pinch. Then remove the adhesive at the top and stick up in your window. I have these on 2 of my windows as I had trouble finding prefabricated shades to fit these windows. After a year and a half, they are still stuck very well and have a nice, clean look to them. If you are trying to block light these will not do it for you. You will need to get the thicker light blocking ones made by this company. These can easily be dressed up with a valance for a more finished look, or even drapes right over these to provide extra privacy. I very highly recommend these for new homeowners on a budget!

There isn't any "stretch" to the material, however, that is a plus because it stays where you hook it. The color, Desert Sand, looks great with our house and deck. The shade does not block the view of our trees and golf course when looking out from the windows of our home. (More customer reviews)We purchased this at a local Home Depot for $25. We cut the length of the shade 1/2" longer than the marking on the shade. This allowed us to fit the space of the arched window more precisely. We did not use the adhesive (not yet) as I have concerns about putting the adhesive on my oak trim. While making adjustments to the shade, the paper wrinkles, however, the wrinkles easily crease out with your fingers. I love this shade!! It fits nicely in the window and the acrylic center holder allows you to make adjustments in different spots to make the space between the shade and the wood more even. We cut the shade against a speed square with a sharp kitchen knife. I hope to put a sheer decorative fabric on this some day to give it a bit of color, but until then I am VERY HAPPY with this window shade.

It looked nice enough in our living room that we decided to keep it as a permanent shade (we have the fabric, not paper version). Overall, this is a fantastic value for ~$8. The only thing that makes this less than ideal is that you need to manually lift and clip these to open them.

Redi Shade 3122531 Redi Arch Paper Window Shade 24-by-48-Inch Review

(More customer reviews)I bought a couple of these for my 2 half-circle windows on the front of my house. Each room becomes warm in the summertime, with the sun beating through the windows. This shade blocks the direct sunlight, but will still let ambient light through, which is fine for my needs. The rooms are much cooler now with this in place. The shades were easy to cut with a fine-toothed hacksaw. The only thing keeping me from scoring 5 out of 5 was the description indicating that the shade was made of vinyl and was washable. This is not the case, or at least it's not the type of vinyl I was expecting. It's more like a sturdy paper, and I am reluctant to wash it with water for fear of damaging the shade.

Coolaroo Shade Fabric Butterfly Clips 20-Count, Black Review

(More customer reviews)Clips are easy to install. The Collaroo fabric does not "pull" away from the clips. Great look.
I did use a regular plyer to firmly set the tabs though the clip's holes until I heard them snap into place. One cravat: If you attach the clip as tightly as I did, they can not be pryed apart without breaking off the two main tabs. Good part, after removal, the fabric is still as good as ever. Lesson learned: Be sure the clips are where you want them before cramping them with plyers.

(More customer reviews)We live in Arizona! We bought 3 of these Coolaroo shade cloths in gray to match our house color. They are very nice. They shipped individually in tightly rolled and sealed packages. I opened and unrolled each of them; then I rerolled them much much looser and let them lay out, full length, over the guest room bed for about 4 days. We had to wait until curtain hardware came anyway. We installed curtain hardware on back porch. Then I cut one side of shade cloth to match our porch openings and hemmed both short (6 ft)sides. It was very easy to hem them on a standard sewing machine with standard thread even with material tripled - I folded material and then tucked end underneath of itself so it would look nice and there would be no possibility of fraying. Then my husband bought a grommet kit to install grommets. We actually hung the cloth with the longest length (15 f5) going side to side, as we needed the width on the porch and didn't care if the shade cloth did not reach the ground - as we mostly wanted the sun out of our eyes and protect the furniture - plus the dogs could go under it then. The only problem we had was that the grommet tool we bought did not want to go through even one layer of the cloth, so we just ended up making holes with a screwdriver and then using the grommet tool. It worked perfectly. The shades are up, they hung out nice - no wrinkles, and sliding them on an overhead curtain track is so much better than having shades to roll up and down plus there are no mechanisms to go bad or rope pulls to rot in the sun and break. To keep the bottom from flapping in the wind, we installed a grommet in each bottom corner, put eyelet screws into the porch columns, and then got those clamps with a toggle clip, and we just clip them if there is some wind. When they are to the side we just bungee them to another eyelet we put into the column.

It is very hard to get them on the heavy duty sunshade and they come apart easy. I also used them on the lighter weight sunshade material and they worked great, it is nice that they don't come apart and they don't rust when used on the light weight material.
