(More customer reviews)Based on the review about it getting stuck, I was sort of worried, but I wanted a solid tea infuser, and not one made in China (this one is made in Germany). I thought it got stuck for me once, but realized I was twisting the wrong way. Just be sure you twist the part without the chain counter-clockwise. It holds a good amount of tea, which is good because I like a little bit stronger tea than what is in standard bags. You will get some tea in the bottom of your cup, but it's very little, and I think hard to avoid with any infuser. It does take up a bit of space, so I end up filling my cup close to the brim while it steeps. As infusers go, it is relatively thick metal, so it will retain heat. After it's done I just wash it with cold water, and open it over the trash. Easy to clean, and ready to use again. There's a big one for kettles too, which I might get next.

Norpro 2 Quart Stainless Steel Multipurpose Food Mill Review

The product initially worked well, but it broke after 3 uses, and after looking at other food mills, I can see why it broke. On this unit all of the rotational force from turning the handle bears on a single axle, which is at the bottom, in the middle of the screen. What holds that axle to the screen? As it turns out - not much. If you look at some nicer, stronger mills, they have a brace going through the top center of the hopper. That brace forms the load bearing axle, then a second axle formed by a free-rotating hole at the bottom for support in 2 places. This mill would only be any use for extremely light duty. Once that center rivet goes (and it will) there's no fixing it.
How could anyone give this a 5 star review without using it?

Stainless Steel Sink Strainer Review

(More customer reviews)This strainer is perfect because it fits the kitchen sink drain to a "T"; it doesn't slide around. I've had it for about 3 years now and it looks nearly like new. It will never rust and there's no coating or paint to wear or chip off since it's stainless steel. Also, it's fairly heavy duty so I don't think that under normal use it will ever dent, either. It's easy to clean (just like any dish) and food doesn't get caught in it and stuck like it does in those screen type strainers. It's perfect!

It fits the drain perfectly, is easy to clean, etc., but the paint finish will only last a few months before it begins to chip, crack and then rust....staining the sink. The PERFECT kitchen drain strainer is the same as this one, but made out of stainless steel. It's also made by "Progressive" and is model number: GT-6746. It is only a little bit more $, but well worth it. Search it out here on Amazon. I've had the stainless steel one for over 3 years and it is as good as new. It will last forever.

The handle does not fold down so this makes it cumbersome to fit neatly into cupboard along side pots & pans (where you would want to keep it for use) I choose to go with the flat (no handle) silicone splatter shields instead. (More customer reviews)I love kitchen silicone products because they are easy to clean and heat resistant. I even use silicone spatula for frying as it doesn't scratches the pan surface.
We have been using the metal splatter screen for years. I never like it and have been considering a silicone screen since I saw them online. The only thing bothering me is the difference in their prices. The metal mesh is very cheap. The metal screen is very messy after each and every use; it is also hard to clean. After a while the seams break and expose wires on the edge which annoyingly get caught with the dish sponge when you clean it.
13" in diameter, which is large, which is good as you want to cover the top of your larger pans. Nice looking. Rated at 500 degree Fahrenheit. The silicone is stretched tight (no sag) on a heavy gauge metal frame. The frame is not visible as it is covered entirely by silicone. The grip is also made of silicone which won't slip on your hands and stays cool during frying. Dishwasher safe. Made in China for Norpro, USA.
Update:
I tried this for steaming dimsums or potstickers. Put water on a pan, put the dimsums on top and cover with a light pan cover. I don't want to use heavy lids as it may sag the silicone (or maybe I am just a bit paranoid). But, it worked great. Easier to clean than my steamer.
Cons:
The holes are a bit large that some oil tends to escape out.
