(More customer reviews)This strainer is perfect because it fits the kitchen sink drain to a "T"; it doesn't slide around. I've had it for about 3 years now and it looks nearly like new. It will never rust and there's no coating or paint to wear or chip off since it's stainless steel. Also, it's fairly heavy duty so I don't think that under normal use it will ever dent, either. It's easy to clean (just like any dish) and food doesn't get caught in it and stuck like it does in those screen type strainers. It's perfect!

It fits the drain perfectly, is easy to clean, etc., but the paint finish will only last a few months before it begins to chip, crack and then rust....staining the sink. The PERFECT kitchen drain strainer is the same as this one, but made out of stainless steel. It's also made by "Progressive" and is model number: GT-6746. It is only a little bit more $, but well worth it. Search it out here on Amazon. I've had the stainless steel one for over 3 years and it is as good as new. It will last forever.

Sinkware 5061 Stainless-Steel Bathtub Strainer Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this strainer a year ago (from Amazon.com) and it worked well. I needed another so I reordered the same thing, but this time the order was filled by another vendor, not directly by Amazon. The vendor shipped me a slightly different strainer that was a bit smaller - and I contacted them and said I wanted the Sinkware 5061 that I had ordered and received in the past. They told me that there was no such thing - that Sinkware was not really a company and they felt they were justified in sending me a strainer that was close to the former style. Needless to say I wasn't happy with this bait-and-switch and I received a refund after complaining to Amazon.com. I don't know why they are still showing the Sinkware 5061 when the vendor says that this product no longer exists.

Set of 3 Tub Mesh Sink Strainer, Stainless Review

(More customer reviews)I wasn't able to find any information anywhere online about the diameter on these strainers so I finally just went to ace hardware and measured them myself in the store. I thought I'd share in case other want to know as well:
The smallest one is 2 1/4 inch in diameter. The inner opening where the basket dips is 3/4 inch in diameter.
The medium size is 2 3/4 inch in diameter. The inner basket diameter is about 1 inch.
The largest one is 4 1/2 inch in diameter. The inner diameter is about 2 inch.--My drain is 2 1/4 inches in diameter and I found the large one works perfectly. I tried the small and medium ones too but is slid around too much in the drain--
