The only downside is that it is very see through. If you are trying to block something from view, this will not work. Also, when they say "match stick", think "toothpicks". That's the color of the bamboo and the thickness.

Also, a couple of the rods were bent that hold up the cloth divider. If I had to rate the first one I purchased it would have been a 4.5 but the second one was worth 1 start - so I am giving this product 2 stars for the inconsistency.

The holes for the chains are messily punched, the veneer shapes are scratched, and two of the five top chains snapped the first time I held it up. I almost kept it just because I had been looking forward to it so much, but there's really no way I can reconcile the cost to what I received. What a disappointment!

(More customer reviews)I ordered this item because i wanted to temporary divide my dinning area from my kitchen. The product arrived on time, with two LARGE cut on the box. At first i was going to return it without openning the package, but my son convince me to do other wise hoping the content would have been protected. Sure enough, the item was damage with 2 rips. One 4 inches long and the other 4 3/4 inches long. I was very disappointed. The item is very beautiful to look at, and serve the purpose intented, but i gave it 3 stars because of poor package. Spending my hard own cash on any item i expect it to be in excellent condition for what i paided for. To return the package i would have to pay an additonal $30.00, so i am stuck with it, and is thinking of "patching" it with something that is not noticeable. I hope the vender will read this comment and change the way they package this item.
An update on this item. September 23, 2010. I did spoke to the vender of this item concerning the item which is damage. Customer service was very courteous, and delt with the problem right away. I received a speedy replacement of the item, and now i am happy with my purchase. It is really a beautiful Piece!!!

Also there were some black flecks in the white color I bought, and it was also soiled in places (looked as if the basket weave material was soiled before weaving). Finally, and MOST depressing.....the entire screen (wooden frame part) warped and I have only had this screen since the beginning of this summer 2010! I am now watching it warp and feel it will eventually look so bad I will have to simply throw it out. I guess the good price was nor so good after all. What a disappointment.
