(More customer reviews)This lamp is lovely but alot smaller in size then expected. The bulb I believed would be the traditional size but instead is a small night light bulb. Since this lamp was so small, I ended up having to purchase an additional light. Shipping and Handling was also rather pricey for such a small and light item.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this item because i wanted to temporary divide my dinning area from my kitchen. The product arrived on time, with two LARGE cut on the box. At first i was going to return it without openning the package, but my son convince me to do other wise hoping the content would have been protected. Sure enough, the item was damage with 2 rips. One 4 inches long and the other 4 3/4 inches long. I was very disappointed. The item is very beautiful to look at, and serve the purpose intented, but i gave it 3 stars because of poor package. Spending my hard own cash on any item i expect it to be in excellent condition for what i paided for. To return the package i would have to pay an additonal $30.00, so i am stuck with it, and is thinking of "patching" it with something that is not noticeable. I hope the vender will read this comment and change the way they package this item.
An update on this item. September 23, 2010. I did spoke to the vender of this item concerning the item which is damage. Customer service was very courteous, and delt with the problem right away. I received a speedy replacement of the item, and now i am happy with my purchase. It is really a beautiful Piece!!!

(More customer reviews)I am happy with this Shoji Screen. I needed a way to block the sun streaming through a window late in the day. The sun would hit a piano and it is bad for the instrument. I hated keeping the shade closed so now I just have this screen strategically placed and voila. The screen is sturdy. The wood and the printed material looks decent. It is not high end furniture quality but it looks fine. The product was shipped right away and was in perfect condition. We are considering buying a second one for another sun-shielding application. With these screens shielding something in your house from direct sun you can keep the shades open. This allows maximum passive solar heating. We live in a sunny but cold climate and this really works well.
