This is my second Omnimount stand/mount. I will say outright that their customer support is excellent. They are fast to answer, patient, courteous, and fast to resolve.

My last Omnimount mount was a cantilever architectural series wall mount. It was strong, attractive, and neat with the cable management. It even supported rotating into portrait mode without dismounting the display. The instructions were great and included a drilling template with an integrated folding dust catcher. Very well executed.
The Bad.
This stand on the other hand, had very poor instructions. They were of the "picture only" variety to save in translating and printing costs. Several grip pads were included but not referenced in the instructions requiring some guesswork.
The head had a fixed portrait or landscape positioning which was disappointing as I expected this much more expensive unit to have a mount head similar to the cantilever unit. Furthermore, the "lift n' lock" is much much more difficult to use than on the cantilever model and requires the unit to rest on the threads of the fixed bolts of the mounting head, risking damaging them. These bolts are also too close to the tilt mechanism's bolts to tighten with a HDTV in place without serious hand dexterity.
Finally, the TV mount head bracket was manufactured too small to slide over the top of the pole as indicated on the instructions requiring assembly at the final resting height to avoid scratching up the polished pole. This will also complicate disassembly, if necessary.
If the head had been of the cantilever's design and the head bracket had fit the pole properly this would have been a five star product despite the poor instructions which only frustrate during assembly.

(More customer reviews)Great stand, very attractive purchased through Amazon. Plan to tape black poster board to the back sections to hide wiring and large JBL sub in this corner installation. Suspect there will be a dust issue since the front is open without doors. This unit is composed of a thick glass top and bottom painted flat black on unexposed sides to give an elegant look.
Since the unit is so wide, I will be able to place the center channel speaker in the center section and the left and right speakers in the upper sections left and right. Shelves are not high enough to permit vertical placement of these speakers but that is ok. There is still room for the receiver, cable box, ps3 and VHS player in the lower left and right sections. Indeed with all this space the whole system with a new 65" plasma (tcp65v10) will take up less space than my 57" DLP with all the components on the top and sides.
It looks to be very easy to put together. Single sheet 3D instructions are sufficient and it will go fast. Only construction issue is the top and bottom plate are very heavy so a second back is useful for the step where the bottom is lifted in place. The unit comes in a 40# box and a 90# box.
OK, Here is the rub. The 90# box that contains the large glass top and bottom came with the glass shattered. Stacks and Stacks promptly sent me another 90# box unfortunately it was damaged also! Since the contents of the box are so heavy, I destroyed the packaging getting the heavy components out of the box and did not initially see the damage. This second shipment included the top section that has small 2 1/2" by 1/2' metal discs with one of them knocked off and a second fractured. I have contacted S&S hoping they will make this right and send yet another 90# box. If they do and it is intact, they will get a positive rating from me. Otherwise I will spend a few minutes and blast them. Trans deco is the supplier and they and their shippers should take better care. I guess my advice is order at your own risk and this probably goes for any glass stand.

Outstanding TV stand - very attractive, it's sturdy, reasonably priced and it's super easy to set up. I'm a single female who put this piece together by myself (45 minutes to an hour give or take)..I like how the TV mount swivels side-to-side & tilts up and down. All in all, I'm happy - would highly recommend this product.Pros:

Cons:

The Con's are: 1) No specifications on how much weight the shelves will support, no specifications on the height between shelves, and no help from customer service on any of this, 2) The TV support arm leans with the weight of my plasma, not only forward but also to one side, stable who knows, although once situated I plan on anchoring it to the walls, 3) repeated emails to customer service go unanswered, I mean absolutely no response, not to my questions or to my requests for parts. This is a very good looking unit, fits my decor just right, but the lack of Bush's customer service support has soured me on buying anything more from them.

It looks great, matches the Black of my 50" Panasonic Plasma great along with my Left and Right speakers and stands. The Swivel mount works good. Makes it a little easier when you need to get behind your HDTV. Not a huge need to swivel with a Plasma since the viewing angle is so wide.
It's also quite a heavy stand!!! It holds a lot also. A Negative is because it's Gloss Black, it does collect a lot of dust easily.
Hanging my Plasma on the wall wasn't a option for me. I also didn't want my Plasma sitting on top of a Glass Shelf. I've seen pictures of what happens when the shelf shatters even though the Rated weight rating was much higher then the HDTV and yet still shattered. I like the look of it up in the Air. The center support blocks the view of any wires, which for me is the power cable and a single HDMI cable. It also allowed me to place the center speaker right under the center of my HDTV with it up in the Air like it is. It is adjustable Up and down, not real easily, but possible. I have mine mounted up to the second to last top hole. This allowed me to fit the speaker under the HDTV, have it at a nice viewing height which if I had just used the Stand my Plasma came with and sat it on the top shelf would have been way to LOW to view. I'm about 7 feet from my screen and even when I'm fully reclined I can still see the screen fully without even my feet blocking the screen.
I've seen other HDTV stands with these type of center lift mounts but most are pretty flimsy feeling to me. Not fully part of the stand where you can remove it and not use it if you like. Not this one. It's Part of the stand. It's bolted on. It's wide and strong. There's no give, no sway, it's solid. There's a bolt kit, with lots of different bolts to fit just about any HDTV, Plasma or LCD made to fit this stand. I popped the caps off the back of my Panasonic Plasma, Installed the 2 Brackets with the Included/Correct bolts, and lifted it onto the Stand mount, then screwed up the lock bolts to keep it from somehow being knocked off. Your HDTV isn't going anywhere!!!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this unit to feature my new Sony Bravia 46 in. HDTV, Sony Blu-Ray player, and Sony home theater sound system. While not the easiest piece of furniture I've put together, it's not the hardest either. The most challenging part of the process is mounting the TV to the bracket. For this step, I recommend that you have two assistants hold the TV in place while you attach the TV to the bracket. Overall, the quality of the stand is very good; the glass shelves have a nice thinkness; and look is contemporary. The only niggle I have with the stand is that it has a weight bias at the back unit, and it will tip over backwards unless all of the glass shelves are installed. Additionally, the stand will tend to lean backward approx. 5 deg. from vertical when placed on a plush-carpeted surface. This indicates that it is better suited for hard-wood or concrete surfaces. Aside from the ample storage space, the best feature is that the TV mount can be tiled side to side. If it titled up & down as well as side to side, I probably would have given this product a five (5) star rating.

Z-Line Alta Wall Furniture System with Integrated Mount Review

(More customer reviews)I was looking to mount my Panasonic 42 inch plasma on the wall in the master bedroom. The Z-line Alta Wall Furniture had the hidden panels for cable management, modern looks, and the style that would match my existing furniture. I had a difficult time finding the maximum dimension of the Z-line TV mount. My Panasonic horizontal mounting holes are about 26 inches apart (or around 660 mm). The Z-line information said it will fit "most" 42 inch LCD/Plasma TVs. I went ahead and ordered the Z-line and hoped my TV fell in the "most" category. Unfortunately, the max you can use with the Z-line is about 400 mm.
I jumped back on the internet and searched for a few days for a flat panel adapter and came up with the Vantage Point ADP42-B Adapter plate for flat panel display (also sold on Amazon). This mount fit perfectly on my Panasonic (think you can go as wide as 27.5 inches). The kit gives you a box full of bolts, washers, and raised rubber spacers to mount on the back of the TV. I was able to mount the TV brackets for the Z-line onto the Vantage Point adaptor well within the 400mm range for the stand. Another plus with the Vantage adaptor is the TV sits a few more inches away from the Z-Line and gave me more room to plug in the power, HDMI cable, and audio out cable (still kinda tight behind there, had to use a mirror to see the RCA plugs).
Mounting the Z-Line was just 4 bolts into the 2X4 stud, adjusting the 1 out of 4 height levels for the TV stand, and 4 small bolts each for the 2 glass shelves. There is plenty of space behind the panels to hide all power/wires. You can also adjust the tilt of the TV to give you a better viewing angle. I also purchased the Omnimount CMK 4 inch cable management covers to hide the wire from the bottom of the Z-line (Amazon also).
I will still rate this product 5 star because of its ease of mounting, looks, and functionality. Z-line should include the max dimension for the mounting bracket and offer a mount kit if your TV exceeds the 400mm (around 15 ½ inches).

Stealth TV Stand Review

(More customer reviews)This Stealth TV Stand is nice looking and seems sturdy but has more parts than it appears in the store. At first glance it appears to come apart into no more than 7 component parts, when in fact there are no less that 14 parts and more screws than you care to count. Using your own tools in addition to the ones provided, will speed up assembly time tremendously. (Have ratchet will travel.) The shelves are bolted into place, so make sure that when you are adding components to the completed stand that at least two of them are no taller than 9".
Thankfully when you are ready to mount your set, they provide several sizes of screws and rubber spacers to mount your flat screen no matter what size it is. It took a bit of online research to find the right size screw for my Panasonic 42" plasma (Thank you Crutchfield!) but I found the right size and it looks great. When I add a Home Theater system, each component will have its own shelf and the cables will be tucked away neatly. The fact that there are no legs or poles to get in the way will make it much easier to add/remove components when the time comes.
PROS: Sturdy. Versatile mounting brackets that can hold support screens up to 50" or 150lbs. Can handle most flat screen TVs. Built in cable management. Open design for quick additions/removal of components.
CONS: Greater than average assembly time. Shelves are not adjustable/removable.

Z-Line Keira 55-Inch W TV Stand Review

(More customer reviews)We decided to move our TV and set top boxes to a different more cozy room. WE wanted a nice TV stand, but nothing that would leave us broke and wondering why we made the decision... :) - The Z-Line fit the bill. It was used for our 46" Sharp Aquos, which is piano black but blends in nicely with this stand being that the shelves are all glass.
It took us about 20 minutes to assemble the stand and put it in place. All of the necessary hardware was included and clearly marked which makes it gain super high marks. Usually when buying furniture that you have to assemble..its like putting a car engine together. The manual, the screws, the parts, were all labeled to perfection and thus I highly recommend this product.
Amazon used FEDEX to ship it and the driver did need help bringing in to the house. The BOX is quite large and quite heavy due to the glass. Z-Line did a great job in packaging and thus there was NO damage what so ever to the package.
Excellent product 5/5
Quick EDIT: The top shelf can hold a TV up to 150lbs and the other two shelves a total weight of 65lbs each.

different box labeled Home Trends, the glass shelves are clear / not black but everything else is the same.
The instructions are labeled Z-line - yep, it's the real thing. All the other positive things said in other
reviews are true. BTW - it handled my new 65 inch Sharp LCD just fine. Only assembly problem was "bottom pad"
screw holes - needed to run a drill bit through as the screw holes didn't exactly line up. That's my story
and I'm stickin to it.
