(More customer reviews)I was looking for a nice looking TV stand, with plenty of storage for my DVDs, and this fit the bill. Most of the pieces in furniture stores were $700 and out of my price range. At just under $300, this one was about $100 more than the ones at Walmart/Target, but much nicer looking and larger. So for the money, I think this is a great piece. It is MDF, so not as sturdy as solid wood, and it scratches a little more easily. It had a couple of nicks when we took it out of the box, but nothing really noticable. It took my boyfriend several hours to put it together by himself. The only thing that was faulty, is that the magnet that is supposed to hold the doors shut, does not quite line up correctly on the left door, so the door doesn't catch the magnet and it doesn't stay shut all the way. But it's only open about half an inch, so not noticable to most people. We have a 47in LED TV centered on top of it, and there's still several inches of space on either side of the TV. It looks great, so overall I think it was a good purchase.
