(More customer reviews)This TV console exceeded my expectations with how it looks and the sturdiness however the finish is literally paper thin. If you look at it the wrong way it will scratch and show very light color wood underneath. To deal with this I purchased a brown felt tip marker and it seems to hide the blemishes from the naked eye. For the price I would still buy this again. As long as you aren't expecting solid wood you can't go wrong. I even have 2 small children that like to abuse furniture. The assembly wasn't bad, took about 1 hour and everything fit together snugly. I had to add a fan to one of the cabinets that I keep my HTPC in to keep things cool but being that the backing is wood and not cardboard this was easily accomplished with a jigsaw and a dremel.
