(More customer reviews)I had the large hand mold full kit before ordering this, so I knew I only needed the mold. I really loved this kit and how it worked. I was thrilled to use it and have enjoyed making paper.
I thought this was the same hand mold from the complete kit minus everything else. I guess what I should have paid attention to was the photo, because the description doesn't say how short the sides of this mold are. It is about 1/5 the height of the other mold.
I had a horrible time trying to agitate the pulp in this, because it isn't deep enough and the pulp bunches up. There isn't enough water capacity to be able to stir the pulp around.
Also annoying, is that it doesn't come with the velcro strip to hold the mold together with the screen and grid, so I used some small clamps. The directions say to hold the mold together with your hands, but then I would be missing the necessary hand to pour in the pulp and agitate the pulp.
Between step 3 and 4, there are a couple of steps the "pamphlet" leaves out. I am not sure who this hand mold my be good for. I highly recommend the full-size kit if you need an extra hand mold.
