(More customer reviews)I needed something basic and minimalist to keep my son out of the pilot light on our small gas fireplace. To that end, it fits the bill, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. Because this thing is a cheaply made, poorly design piece of junk. To illustrate consider the two legs that you attach to the base with 2 screws each. First, I was given the right number of screws, but only one nut. Huh? How did that happen from a company that boasts on the box that every package is quality checked? I guess they don't do that in China.
The second and even more annoying issue is how the legs themselves attach. In short, the holes in the legs don't line up with the holes in the screen making is physically impossible to use more than one of the screws to attach either leg. This isn't surprising when you examine the shoddy welding holding the whole thing together. Disappointing.
I will be sure to avoid anything from this company in the future.
