(More customer reviews)This clock is everything I was looking for (well, almost - it would be nice if it was atomic as well). It is small and slim, barely takes any space by the bed). The display is large enough to be seen from across the room. Very simple with one alarm (which I rarely would use). It is easy to set (the only drawback is that the numbers only go one way but there is a separate set for hour and minute so it makes it easier). It displays in 12/24 hour mode which is really nice and you can see the seconds going by (which to me is a BIG plus). The colors are very nice (yes, I like to play with this feature) and they set like a puzzle - there are three little buttons that you push in various ways and they determine the color of the display). At night, it is not too bright and you can see the display easily. The date and day feature is helpful as well. Have you ever woken up on a Saturday or Sunday thinking it's a work day? One look at the clock and you won't be confused anymore :) Overall, I am very pleased with this clock and would recommend it for someone who likes simplicity.

(More customer reviews)This is a great clock, easy to read in any lighting conditions and the back-light is very bright, enough to use the clock for a night light. The thermometer is accurate and can be set to C or F easily. The 12/24 hour display is very handy and easy to set too. Aside from one feature this clock deserves five stars.
The alarm on this clock is very poor. First it is very high pitched, higher than any other alarm I have tried. Second it is not very loud, I have slept through it a couple times, it won't even wake the grandkid if it goes off when she is napping. The last and fatal flaw is that the alarm tone kicks off for a few seconds then shifts to a higher tone for a few more then quits, never to sound again. If you are any but the lightest sleeper you are going to need a backup alarm to make sure you wake up.
I moved it to my desk where it looks great and the alarm is loud enough to remind me of appointments.

(More customer reviews)the software provided is suppossed to be compatible with Windows XP, but after loading it I got the following message "no photo Viewer is found, program termined". (the word terminated is actually mispelled in the message box). I uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times. Did a Google search and apparently this is a common complaint. Went to the Nextar website which was no help at all. What a waste of time and money. Don't buy this product.

(More customer reviews)This is a plug in clock with a battery backup (which is not entirely clear from the description). It is very small (definitely fits in the palm of your hand) but has a very clear LCD. I like that you can customize the color for the display but I found the basic blue shown in the picture works the best. It is perfect as a second clock for the other side of the bed--presuming there are two people.

The display is hugh so it can be easily viewed from across the room and there is a dimmer setting if you want a low level of brightness. The control buttons are large and easy to use. My wife has poor eye sight and loves this clock.
