The instruction sheet referred to the fence as "Rustic" and it should be finished by the buyer. The wood was thin and the type you would find on the old orange crates of many years ago. In addition, the sheet warned the buyer that this fence should not be used to contain children or small pets. What else would someone buy a fence. The product description on the web site did not mention either of the above issues.
