(More customer reviews)The Bell'O PR-32 is generally well built, with a few rough edges. It is a very solid piece of furniture (shipping weight was over 200 lbs), and generally well thought-out. It also looks very nice.
There are some rough edges, however. The shelving in the main cabinet only has 3 possible positions; the highest position did not leave enough clearance below the removable shelf for my receiver (a Yamaha RX-V663). As a result, I could only fit three components in the main cabinet rather than the expected four.
Second, pay attention to the depth of your center channel speaker. A vertical member splits the upper shelf in half, with only 8" depth clearance in front. This is mentioned in the item description, but be forewarned that if you have a component system with a good-quality center channel it probably will not fit in the space provided (I have a Paradigm CC-190, which is about 9.5" deep - and this is the smallest component center channel made by Paradigm). Also, the 7" height of the center channel shelf does not take into account a bezel present on the front side of the shelf. You can still fit a 7"-high speaker, but you have to slide it in from the back of the unit (a task complicated by the central support member).
Finally, the pull-out shelves do not slide all the way out. This means there are several inches of wasted space, where it is very difficult to insert and remove DVDs.
On the positive side, each of the pull-out shelves has an adjustable bookend so you don't have to worry about DVDs falling over if you don't fill the shelf; the shelves are also large enough to accept slightly oversize DVD cases (like the Pink Panther Box Set). The unit arrived with the glass door panels already installed, and I have had no issues controlling components with the doors shut. Ventilation slots are cut into the base of the unit, as well as the removable shelves and the removable back panels. So far this has provided adequate ventilation for my receiver and PS3, something that could be an issue for many lower-end cabinets that make no provisions for ventilation.
Overall this is a very nice, sturdily-built media cabinet at a reasonable price. However, you may want to look elsewhere if you have a component home theater/audio system.
