Last year we spent $98.00 for a small screened patio tent that fell apart before the end of summer. This will actually work better for our family. It can be used on any appropriately sized patio umbrella and since we usually need bug protection when eating or playing games outside in summer it nicely drapes over the patio table. It can even easily be taken camping.

(More customer reviews)We bought this last year and really enjoyed it. Left it out without the roof over the winter---no problems. HOWEVER, you really do need someone with a little technical know-how to put it together. That's one of the reasons we didn't take it back down! Also, if you have a membership to a certain warehouse (think of one with a patriotic name), you can get it, with shipping included, for quite a bit less than half a grand. We have tripled the time we spent outdoors---probably more---because we can finally sit bug-free. Also, this size is big enough for a large lounge chair (chaise) and two or three regular outdoor chairs, or you could probably squeeze in a smaller wicker set. Big enough for us!

Took me 5 min. to set it all up ...we had a storm a few days later with scary winds and rain with big hail...but no problem for this screenhouse!! the screen tips on each section of floor is great for draining water yet not allowing any bugs in and holes in the zipper tabs lets me lock it up at night..ITS TOTALLY COOL!!! (More customer reviews)Got this as a gift from our niece about two weeks ago. So far so good. The black net is easy to see through and has kept all the flies and mosquitos out perfectly. You do need two people to get it on because it has a cinch that you pull to tighten it over the top of the umbrella. It fits around our four chairs and two side tables with plenty of room (and thats with the umbrella and stand in the middle). I would recommend this product,it is easy to use, clean and works great. Oh....there was one probelm with the bottom hose that you fill with water to weigh the screen down. It had two small leaks, but I repaired them with the patches that you get for inflatable pools. The Amazon shipping did take a while, but it was worth the wait.
