(More customer reviews)I was a little worried because no one else had put a review on this product, and some others that had reviewed on other LG OUTDOORS products, were complaining about the service. I was happy to find out I wasn't one of those people. My package arrived by UPS a day before the final day of estimate (20th out of 15th-21st).
The Metal Detector was in brand new condition straight from the factory. The Detector was easy to assemble. But, let me warn you that batteries are NOT included, and the Detector takes 8 AA Batteries! Luckily, I found this out ahead of time, and was prepared so I could use it straight from the box. The Detector itself is a high quality machine, and there are plenty of buttons and settings that take getting use to. But the great thing is you can be a pro or a beginner like me, and still love this gadget. Like I said, I'm a beginner and never had even touched a metal detector before. And although I'm still not quite sure what each little setting does, I still could take it outside and find a few things. I found a an old token and an old Rose Contest Medal. Those things were buried deep in the ground, my house was only built in '59, and it was my first day!
So, I don't know how other Detectors work, so I don't know what I'm missing. But, from my experiences, I highly recommend this product.
