(More customer reviews)For the price you pay, you really can't beat it. Instead of buying two different Apple-branded cables, I could do it with one. That being said, it seems like a lot of cords (for obvious reasons), which makes it bulky to transport. My intent was to use this traveling so I could plug my kid's movies in with her iPod. If you plan on plugging it in on your home TV and leaving it, this would be perfectly fine. The one small issue I have with this product (for home use) is that the audio (L/R) are shared between the two (component/composite) on the composite side. I understand that it would add two more cables, but you would have to dedicate the audio to either one of them or plug it into a receiver. This is a problem for me, because the audio goes straight into the TV and not into a receiver. Because of this, I can't simply switch between the two, which is necessary depending on the iPod/iPhone generation I'm plugging in. Another small annoyance is that sometimes my iPhone/iPods would get an accessory error (not compatible). it's irritating, but I imagine it's a software issue. Whatever it is, it's annoying. One last note, this product does not have a power source, just a USB powered cable. You will have to have some type of outlet to USB close by if you want to have your device charge at the same time.
