(More customer reviews)I had actually purchased this a few months ago to use as a washing machine sediment filter, and it worked great at first. However it started leaking, and we didn't notice it until we found a puddle on the floor. It was leaking around where the clear bowl screwed on. I tried to tighten it up to stop the leak, but as I was tightening it broke. I won't buy another one.

Mavea 1001496 Universal Filter for Water Filtration Pitchers, 2-Pack Review

I have a Mavea elamaris XL pitcher and am very happy with it. Recently I have experienced
some confusion when trying to order refill filters for it from amazon. I ordered what I thought
were the right filters. When they came I discovered I had ordered Universal Fit filters which
are made by Mavea but do not fit the elemaris pitcher. I think they are made to fit Brita pitures.
So I have to return them. Now it is strange because when I go to my orders it says I ordered these universal
fit filters but when I click the link it brings me to the Maxtra filters (which is the right one)
Also when you go to the Maxtra filter page there are options to order 1,2,or3. It is 3 for 21.95 or
2 for 9.99. I had decided to order 2 x2 as it was cheaper. However when you click on the 1 or three it shows
a picture of the maxtra filter and when you click on the two it shows a picture of the universal filter.
So I think amazon is messing up a bit with their pages on this. I think they are letting me return my filters
with no charge. I'm just a bit nervous about ordering again.
