When I ordered this folding door I naturally concluded that it had GLASS panels in it. Wrong. The windows are made of thin cheap plastic, certainly not glass as described. Then I noticed that most of the plastic end caps that hold things in place were either cracked or broken (there's about 20 of them). Next I looked to see how the magnetic latch works as described (in broken English) in the "manual" (1 page of confused and contradictory mush). The problem was I didn't see any magnets on the door nor in with the hardware. Long story short, they had come loose and slid inside of the end panel, a royal pain to find and extract. Then I had to figure out how the magnets were supposed to be mounted, no help from the instructions since they're probably never meant to come undone. Good thing I have a masters degree in engineering, I doubt if your average "Joe" or "Jane" would fare too well.
Once I was installing the door, I realized that had I better be VERY careful. There's NO way without destroying the product to remove it from the wall: once you snap that last vertical into the stationary extrusion, you're committed, for better or worse. Then finally as I started to move the accordion doors for the first time, out poured a veritable racket: "SQUEEEEK" "SQUEEEEEK". The plastic hinges at the top (and there are many of them) each make an ungodly amount of noise. Forget about opening or closing this puppy without holding your ears or waking up the baby. A soaking with WD-40 helped a bit.
This is poorly designed, poorly made, badly mis-described junk. Amazon should be more careful what they carry, and buyer beware on this one.
