(More customer reviews)This book case was easier to assemble than most flat boxed furniture I have assembled. The wheels are industrial strength, so they don't look so good, but once it is loaded up with heavy books I am glad of the strength. The book case itself is very nice looking. The finish is a saturated black. It is standing up well and looks very nice between my living room and office.
Update!! I have had this unit for less than a year. The veneer is delaminating from the unit. There are several large bubbles in the veneer that are pushed up as much as a half an inch. I wouldn't recommend this unit if you live in a humid area. I have had to replace it.

Exotic Retreat Bookcase/Room Divider Review

(More customer reviews)I bought one of these from a Target store about a year ago. That one is in my home and now I'm ordering several more for my business. Looks great upright or on its side as a low bookcase. Although I used to assemble furniture for a living, I was surprised at how easily this lovely piece went together. Combination of solid woods and veneers makes it light enough to move around, without sacrificing strength. It would be nice if it was bigger, but you can always put multiple units side by side (it is reversible, or course, just turn it around).
