(More customer reviews)I am a handicapped person and have trouble with a lot of things, but not this. The day I received this stand I put it together myself within 5 min. I can vouch that it can handle having almost a 1000lbs on it and it doesn't affect it at all. We have had to move the TV that is on top a few times and the surface is very resilient there have been NO scratches. The design is excellent for threading cords of component electrical pieces. It also has a great amount of functional storage space. The color is beautiful and I love the fact that it is made in a sustainable way out of bamboo. I am so happy with this purchase that when I can afford it I intend to buy the modular computer desks made by this company to replace the one I have.
