(More customer reviews)I've installed two of these screens in our house, and they let us air the place out just as we'd hoped. It's perfectly easy to pull them across the doorway, and the magnetic latch works effectively every time. The biggest problem we have is these screens have confused the heck out of our dog, who smells the outside air and goes charging out -- whammo! Several such episodes have proved the screens can take some abuse with no damage.
A couple of notes about installation -- you have to cut the entire screen and its enclosure to fit your door height. This requires a miter box, a hacksaw, steady hands, and a fair amount of strength since the saw tends to bind in the screening material. Once you've accomplished this task, however, the rest of the installation is a breeze (so to speak).
Another slight complication -- If you want to install this screen between a regular exterior door and a storm door, there should be room to do so, but only if you remove the storm door's closer, which is almost always inside the storm door. You will then have to install a different closer outside the storm door. These are available, but are fairly expensive.

The ODL RTMW01 retractable screen is 81" tall from the top of unit housing to the bottom of housing. It is reversible to fit both right and left handed doors and fits on 6'8" In Swing doors. The screen covers single doors up to 36" wide or double doors up to 72" wide, though two screens are needed for this type of application. Replacement screen cartridges are available should screen ever become damaged.
