I put this in front of my office window to block the construction site outside and there was almost no difference. I could clearly see the men, the trucks, and all the ruckus outside. That's because the chintzy black fabric is 100% see-thru when placed in front of a sunny window, like a sheer curtain. A privacy screen with no privacy? No thanks, it's going back.

We are using it to compliment a media console that we like and did not want to replace. Instead of mounting this to the wall in a permanent solution with all of the implications of that, the BDI is enabling us to achieve the same effect and yet it is portable. The BDI is very solid and fits under and behind the console very easily. It has sufficient ability to tailor the height and swing for this type of installation. For those that have a short media console that want to raise a plasma/LCD/LED TV of 50" or more and don't want to replace the console or mount the monitor to the wall, this is a great solution. Moreover, when we move, we will be able to take it with us.. Highly recommended..

I am a big fan of checking the progress of shipment, however was not given any tracking number. We were very happy to see it arrive 6 days after order placement. Visibly a ding in one corner of the box made me suspicious (especially with glass). As we dug into box-after-box-after-box, we found that every piece was well in tact.
Less than 20 minutes assembly (be prepared with another set of hands--specifications are extremely true in mentioning 137 pounds). Each shelf has a sheet of glass that is seemingly very thick, leaving us very confident in it's durability. We were leery of space for all of our 6 electronic components, which notably fits great with comfortable gaps between each. Three wiring holes out the back also makes our set-up very convenient.
We are very pleased with the purchase of this product and definitely believe that it is well worth the money!

Entirely Pets personnel (Mary Ann?) was in such a hurry she did not include an address to return the first wrong hood. Then Entirely Pets delivered a Non-Hinged screen of the correct size, but I paid $25.64 not the Non-Hinged screen price of $20.64. I never received what they advertised and what the invoice read. They refunded me $12 and I have an extra wrong size hood, six weeks later..

I waited the 3 days also before strapping them down and locking them. They work fine and secure my huge 150 pound old style TV to its stand so no one can knock it over. (I had to use four straps to meet the weight requirement.)

I bought this to put in the window. Its the perfect size for my double window (the length of the tub). The colors are calm and pleasant. I also bought the golden dragon screen for my kitchen, he's all energy and movement. But this is nice for a relaxing bath. Let's lots of sunlight in, enough that I sometimes check to make sure no one can see in. I'd say there is about 2' above the screen in the window well. I wish I had more windows that needed covering like this. I love the idea of plantation shutters, but I am so glad I decided to try this first. Fantastic product for the price. It arrived on time and with no damage. Both screens are light weight and easy to pick up and move.

(More customer reviews)The top and bottom pieces came a little arched in my package. Which, together with the metal bars being slightly angled, makes the whole thing look a bit wonky. There are also two side dents. Arguably that can happen in transport, except the respective sides did not seem able to come into contact with what could have caused such dents (they were sharp dents where the box was lined with intact polystyrene). So I'd say the design is interesting, but materials and workmanship are crappy.
