Stealth TV Stand Review

(More customer reviews)This Stealth TV Stand is nice looking and seems sturdy but has more parts than it appears in the store. At first glance it appears to come apart into no more than 7 component parts, when in fact there are no less that 14 parts and more screws than you care to count. Using your own tools in addition to the ones provided, will speed up assembly time tremendously. (Have ratchet will travel.) The shelves are bolted into place, so make sure that when you are adding components to the completed stand that at least two of them are no taller than 9".
Thankfully when you are ready to mount your set, they provide several sizes of screws and rubber spacers to mount your flat screen no matter what size it is. It took a bit of online research to find the right size screw for my Panasonic 42" plasma (Thank you Crutchfield!) but I found the right size and it looks great. When I add a Home Theater system, each component will have its own shelf and the cables will be tucked away neatly. The fact that there are no legs or poles to get in the way will make it much easier to add/remove components when the time comes.
PROS: Sturdy. Versatile mounting brackets that can hold support screens up to 50" or 150lbs. Can handle most flat screen TVs. Built in cable management. Open design for quick additions/removal of components.
CONS: Greater than average assembly time. Shelves are not adjustable/removable.

(More customer reviews)I bought a couple of these for my 2 half-circle windows on the front of my house. Each room becomes warm in the summertime, with the sun beating through the windows. This shade blocks the direct sunlight, but will still let ambient light through, which is fine for my needs. The rooms are much cooler now with this in place. The shades were easy to cut with a fine-toothed hacksaw. The only thing keeping me from scoring 5 out of 5 was the description indicating that the shade was made of vinyl and was washable. This is not the case, or at least it's not the type of vinyl I was expecting. It's more like a sturdy paper, and I am reluctant to wash it with water for fear of damaging the shade.

(More customer reviews)The Tech Craft BAY4828B - 48" Wide A/V Entertainment Center (black) was a perfect choice to support a black 42" LCD TV in the corner of our 24' x 16' family room. Its rich appearance and quality of construction make it a good deal for the price. Also, it's a rarity to have the option of both open and closed shelves in a TV stand. We keep a cable TV DVR and a DVD player on the convenient open shelf and Wii accessories and DVDs on the two shelves protected by the glass doors. (Our Wii sits hidden behind the TV on one side of the stand, which makes it convenient to charge and grab the controllers.)
Note that this stand affords a somewhat higher position than most for your TV, which is especially great for the Wii (It may also be advantageous for folks with toddlers and dogs, in lessening their access to the TV screen.). Its solid stance and ample depth reassures that flatscreen TVs will rest stably.
Assembly was straightforward for one person with a few simple tools. Some of the pieces are heavy, which is a testament to its quality. There was one minor flaw -- a top rear corner was bent slightly upward. Overall, we cannot be happier with our purchase.

Western Red Cedar - Cedar Trellis Screen - Furniture For Your Patio and Garden Review

(More customer reviews)The end product gets a four star review from me, but two things really irked me about this trellis screen. First the picture shows a trellis screen that is basically two panels attached with hinges in the middle. To get this you need to order TWO of these. Stupid me, I assumed that one unit would be two panels attached with the hinges like the photo shows. Second is that this is a KIT. You have to assemble EVERYTHING. The box comes with cut pieces of cedar with screws and nails. I'm pretty handy and normally I would have built this from scratch, but I had a time constraint that I was up against so thought I'd spend the extra money to have it come assembled so I could get it installed in time. I spent the extra money alright, but ended up missing my install date because I only had the things half assembled! It isn't hard to assemble, just tedious / time consuming. Each and every piece had to be glued and nailed together! Again, the end product is fine but the required amount of assembly is a joke! If you have a table saw at home, DON'T buy this. You could save yourself over $200 by going to the lumber yard, buying some cedar 2x4s and ripping the pieces yourself. Truly, its that simple.

But this is a very versatile, sturdy, no-nonsense terrarium. My crabs have since moved to another tank (Exo-Terra), just because of space-saving and personal preferences. But this 5 Gal is plenty big and looks nice anywhere you place it. Also easy to access (no fidgeting), and I love the extra feature of the metal add-on lamp holder (took 30 seconds to put on). I will definitely use this tank again in the future for my next reptile-type pet.

Space Saver Fixed/Tilt Flat Screen TV Wall Mount Bracket for 26-Inch to 65-Inch Screens Review

(More customer reviews)This mount has a center section (the solid looking part in the middle), two "wings" and two brackets. The wings slide into the center section and are adjustable to accomodate where your studs are and the width of your TV. The brackets are screwed into your TV (wherever the holes in the back of the TV are, in other words your VESA standard) and then hooked over the wings.
The problem is: The hooks on the brackets don't fit over the center section and the center section is 260mm wide! So there is no way this mounting system is VESA 100 or 200 compatible as clearly stated in the product description and in the manual.
We had everything attached to the wall (with accompanying damage to the drywall), and had to take it all down again. I've emailed customer support but no response. So we attached one of the wings to the wall where the center section used to be and mounted the TV on that. I had to patch, texture and paint the remaining holes. It isn't safe though, because it can just slide off, plus it's probably too small for the 42" TV we have on there. Gah.
Avoid if you have a VESA 100 or 200. Okay if you have bigger, I guess, but I'm still giving it 1 star because of the lies in the description, lack of customer support and all the hassle and time wasted.

She had been using an old bookcase for her TV stand and had pretty limited space in her living room. I sent this to her as a house warming gift. She was THRILLED with it. When she called to say thank you, she reported "Wow, this is my only real piece of 'grown up' furniture!" She really likes the slight bowing on the sides and said that the finish is even and rich in color. She said that it gave the piece real character. She did said that it did take her a couple hours to put together but once it was together, it was very stable and was didn't have any wobble even with her heavy television on it. I'm tempted to replace my existing entertainment center with the larger version of this product after hearing her response to it. I would highly recommend it...as would she. :)

The only issue is that you've got to be careful during assembly because the wood finish easily scratches. Also the wood is not solid but engineered wood but that's what you get for the price.
